I am an enthusiastic independent consultant specialising in data governance, as well as being a qualified Project and Programme Manager.

I am experienced in designing and implementing full data governance frameworks in both regulatory and non-regulatory environments. I have worked in data management for ten years, initially for Lloyds TSB, before becoming a consultant at the beginning of 2009.  While working for Platon and then Glue Reply, I implemented a Data Governance Model for Thomson Reuters and a Data Centre of Excellence for the Ministry of Defence.  Recently I have spent most of my time delivering data governance to meet Solvency II requirements for Direct Line Group and have just started working with Aspen Insurance.

I present at conferences on Data Management topics and deliver data governance and data quality training. I am a Director and Committee Member of DAMA UK and am on the Expert Panel of www.dataqualitypro.com.

I presented at the Data Governance Conference Europe in London this April, will be presenting at an MDM event in London this October and the 2014 DQ Asia Pacific Congress.
